Review of a private Georgia day tour from Tbilisi to Mtskheta, Gori, the Stalin Museum, and Uplistsikhe cave town.

“I really wanted to just go to the Stalin Museum but this tour had a few add-ons as well. I was pleasantly surprised with the Uplistsikhe caves! They were really well preserved and in tact unlike some of the other ruins you go to in some countries where you have to "imagine" what used to be there. We were able to climb around in the caves and I enjoyed the wine tasting as well! Review of a private Tbilisi day tour to Mtskheta, Gori, Stalin Museum, Gori Fortress, and Uplistsikhe, with practical tips and value advice.

“This was not a “tour”. This was a guy - Misha (only know his name from the booking!) - who picked us up at our hotel (late) and quite literally just drove us to only 3 of the 4 stops mentioned in the “tour” and dropped us off at each site. We did not go to Gori Fortress which was supposed to be a stop. He made no offer of water all day. No conversation, no description, no telling us where we were… He spoke very little English and made zero attempt to talk. It was complete silence from min he picked us up to the end of the day.…”
